Congradulations to the NEA All-stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They swept the district tournament at Marmaduke last week and done the same at the state tourney this past weekend in Blytheville. They claimed the State tourney title with a win over Springhill 10-0 and will now represent Arkansas in the regional tourney

The 14 year old NEA East All-star team is made up of kids from Caraway, Monette, Leachville and Manila. They are the junior league state champs and will represent Arkansas in the Southwest Regional Tournament held in Midland, TX. It starts July 31 and runs through August 5. The team is currently working on fund raising ideas to raise enough money to go. If anyone has any extra cash laying around, I am sure these kids would gladly take it.

Man, from the information packet I saw the tournament is providing housing and meals for the players and coaches. This sure eases the burden some.
