CRA's senior girls defeated Piggot 25-13, 25-16, and 25-9 on Tuesday night at CRA. With the victory, CRA's senior girls secured a second place finish in the 3A Northeast conference.

I heard from WR parents that it was a ugly game with some terrible officiating against both teams. Also that the game ball was changed after the third game because it was not regulation ball by official. Was also told the WR girls missed 25 serves in this game.

As I wasn't there I'd like to know if any of this is true? Or is this just typical WR crybaby crap from WR that everybody has gotten use to from them with all the stuff going on with them and Hoxie.

Lastly I'd like to say congratulations to the Bay girls for pulling off a upset. New 1st year coach and program that almost ended has indeed turned a corner

thank you very much..... yes the officiating wasn't good. One of the refs needed to be sick in bed or something. i dont know, but it was bad. Those are our refs all the time and they do not play favorites thats for sure.In fact we were starting to think they just didnt like us ,but they showed they play no favoritism...lol

BUT thats a fact that they werent good to either of us, so in the long run it was a fair game. and our girls deserve the win. I wish there was more time season play. with winning against WR and harrisburg i have faith they could have gotten even better!!!

valley view had an impressive showing tonight, defeating westside in 3 straight games. looks like the real blazers have shown up. let's keep up the good work and win that 5th straight state championship.

Ya'll played good but I am still trying to figure out what Patterson was doing by putting Fielder and Arnold on the bench thru out the games. They should never be out just short of an injury.

Brookland defeated Crowley’s Ridge Academies senior girls in 5 sets (25-20, 18-25, 25-21, 24-26, 15-9) on Thursday night. Congratulations to Brookland.

i agree they are the only weapons ya'll have. the problem is that neither one of them are really backrow players (i.e. defense) which very few big girls are, they just aren't able to react and move as quick as a smaller player. this showed up last night because our girls were hammering the ball better than in the first two meetings. even though they score a few points by letting them stay in on backrow and hit from there, ya'll give up a little defensively. the only time i saw them come out was when they were backrow, they came back in as soon as they rotated to the front. the big difference last night was that vv was able to block, or at least get a hand on, most of the hits westside attempted. plus vv played stellar defense by digging alot of the hits that weren't blocked. should see both of these teams play one more time in the state finals. what else would you expect.
