Now that 2007 is over and 2008 will be here before we know it, 2 questions about NEA soccer:

1) Who was the best team this past year for 2007?

2) Who should we be looking at next spring, 2008?

from the nea it was obviously jhs and they will be really good next year and all the following simple enough

I didnt know Jonesboro was that good?
I know Batesville was really good.
Teams to look forward to maybe?:
Batesville(always)
Valley View
GCT(didn't lose many players, should be better)
Don't know much more..

i think gct lost one starter lastyear so they should build on lastyear and be better this coming year

CRA should be just as good if not better next year..... they only lost 3 seniors and one of them only played a few games at the beginning of the year... so only 2 seniors from their state tournament team

Watch for Nettleton guys.

Both the JHS boys and girls played in the state championship...so I would say that, yeah, they were that good.

Yes sir! And they are gonna kill this coming up season too. I wish I could have gottne one last year with them, but I think they will pull it out this year.

I don't know how they performed at state, but with the way conferences were juggled around this year, just saying they played at state really only means they had a team or won one or two conf games.

Not I, too old(by about 20 years) and slow.

They each played in the title game...in any classification, that is an accomplishment.

That is an accomplishment, Sorry I misread your original post, overlooked the championship part implying they played in the title game and was thinking only as a state tourny berth. My bad.

I'm curious to know how the teams in the area are this year compared to last year. If you play let us know how you think your season is going to go

I play for CRA and we only lost 2 seniors from last years final 4 team. We should have a very good team again this year.
