Looked like Pokey may have improved over the season holding Westside to only 1 in six innings. I consider that a successful year for Pocahontas since they only had one returning starter. Look for great things for them next year and congrats to them and their new coach "Goodwin".

Pokey has improved alot, especially Courtney Jones. She looked pretty good with the bat. They covered a lot of what we hit to them but our bats were really slumping in that game and for us to go anywhere in regionals and possibly state, they better get their bats back.

yeah, i know.....I believe we have also lost Kalie Roedel for the rest of our season. Slid into 3rd in extra innings, 2 outs, down by 1. ankle or leg injury. A heck of a effort by all.Yes, they called her out, a very controversial call.
we've been here before. so maybe, just maybe, we'll get through regionals...boy, we sure will miss kalie, the same as we miss lacy. How much can a team take...

maybe they'll go far just for these 2 great girls.
