I wish I had some good results to post...

EPC lost to BIC 4-0. Scoreless game until the 5th and defensive errors determined the final score. Hailey had 12 K's and 3 walks (one intentional).

Same thing vs Blytheville. Had the lead late in the game 5-3. R2 runs into SS as she was releasing the ball and caused a throwing error to 1st that would have ended the game in the bottom of the 7th. Umpires say they "didn't see a thing". 2 runs score and we go to ITB. Blytheville coaches come to us afer the game and apologized for the bad calls and blatant missed interference call. Good sportsmanship was shown by Coach Snow and the other coach. Ashely Snow (her daughter) is a gamer.

Defensive errors were the issue once again. EPC lost 7-6. Hailey had 19 k's, 2 walks (one intentional), 2 run homer and an RBI walk. How do you have 19 K's and still lose? Answer...d3k's.

It was a great pitching performance from Lesley Taylor and Karisa Hendrix. Both pitchers had over 12ks each.

The game ended on a thrilling double play. There was one out with the bases loaded. The girl at the place has an infield pop out. They call infield fly rule and the girl on third tries to steal home. She is gunned down at the plate for the last out of the game. Great job Highland, your looking good.

It hurts me so badly i cant talk about it except 2 things....lacy's hurt and our defense did not step up... they gave up!!!!! i dont think our offense hit one at all either!!!

Fast pitch62 will fill everyone in, im sure ...

I am really sorry about Lacy. She is a sweet kid and a good pitcher and I think it is a crying shame to injure her in practice like that. I was, and our girls were, sadly disappointed at not facing Lacy in the game. I think we are an excellent hitting team and would liked to have proven that tonight but weren't given the chance. I wish ya'll and Lacy the best. As for the game, enuff said.

Highland vs Nettleton

Nettleton wins in extra innings on controversial call. The runner on 2nd base attempted to steal and was called out at third; this would have been the second out. After the Nettleton coaches argued the call, the ump reverses his call. We couldn't believe it. Karisa strikes out the next batter for the second out (should have been the third) and then walk the next batter and gives up the only hit of the game. Nettleton wins 2-0 Karisa had 17ks.

Great game. We'll play them in a couple of weeks, so we'll get another shot at them.

Way to go Highland you're looking good.
