what happened to Lacy?

broken thumb on her pitching hand. Will be out no less than 4 weeks, probably more.
broke it sliding at practice.

Shelby had a no-hitter.
Highland had its chance on some walks and throwing errors, but couldn't score.

Highland and Nettleton are scheduled to play again April 7 at Nettleton.
Should be a great game.

Just found out LACY is OUT for longer...She is having surgrey SO there goes the season,. STATE everything.... I and everyone at BAY is SICK..So sorry Lacy and family...

What was going on at practice and the whole reason Lacy got hurt?

Didn't go the WESTIDE/BAY GAME HAD TO WORK.. congrats TO wARRIORS AND MS. Baugh and the whole team we look STATE bound.

the team was doing sliding drills and she slide wrong.... girls get hurt all the time, it happens, it just so happened to us...

wish us luck for the rest of our season...our defense has to step up. thay laid back for a year and half now its time for them to do thier jobs!!!! I'll give yesterday but thats all im giving..shock is over, lets play ball

My question is: Why in a game do you courtesy run for your pitchers and catchers? Answer: So they don't get freaking hurt is why and the rest of your season isn't freaking over. Makes no sense to me to turn around and make them slide and do the same things in practice that you won't let them do in a game.

Corning over Rivercrest 12-2

Run ruled in 5. We held them scoreless until the bottom of the 5th.
Awesome defense today, and we also hit two over the fence

Highland 1 Rivercrest 0

Highland pulls out the win in extra innings. Hendrix had 15ks.
The pitcher for Rivercrest hurt her ankle sliding into third but was able to wrap up her ankle and pitch the last inning. Hope she is ok. She showed a lot of grit to come back.

Highland is 5-0 in conference. Good job girls!

Someone said ( didn't go to the game) that ALL the starters sat OUT.. IF so way to go girls... GO Warriors... Still saying that STATE is looking very good.... I am so proud of all the girls 3 different coaches in 3 years... WHAT else can you say...

I was wrong the starters did play and Lacy did pitch.. should have read the paper before i made a comment... SO sorry.. but YES all the girls are good...Sorry Warriors you know I love ALL of yall way to go.. WE will See if Bay can try and hang with the Warriors on Friday night...
