Bay was kicking butt for 5 innings 8-0, then the poison ivy started to spread. They scored 5 in one inning. Jill hit one over the fence and Bailey started to pick up on lacy. But we held them after that but it got really scary. We have got to keep up our defense , and not let little plays beat us. Simple throws almost cost us. we looked like amatures.
VV's coach tried to play small ball, but we did well with that. Our 1st baseman and second dont exactly know what to do but they managed.
LAcy had to work really hard, but she pitched really well . She earned her win. I just hope we can stop the mistakes and not depend on lacy to make the win. she need us the same as we need her...Good or bad pitcher you've got to hold your D.
Or bats were smokin....no complaints there.

I WAS AT THE BAY VALLEY VIEW GAME IT WAS GREAT.. BAY JUMPED OUT FIRST AND WAS KICKING BUTT.. AND LIKE TAILGATER SAID VALLEY VIEW ALWAYS FIGHTS TILL THE END.. BAY IS GOING TO HAVE TO PLAY GREAT DEFENSE EVERYGAME.. VALLEY GOES TO WESTSIDE TODAY.... SHOULD BE A HARD FAUGHT GAME IT ALWAYS IS... IF NO ONES POSTED IO WILL GET THE HIGHLIGHTS ON ASAP....GO WARRIORS AND JACKETS, DO THEY MAKE SHIRTS HALF PURPLE AND RED..

we were up 5-0 and coach pulled lacy to let lauren pitch. They immediately got a hold on her style and started hitting the ball. Coached put lacy back in and she shut them down. Our bats are still looking good .
Now like i said in my last post, these girls can not depend all on our pitcher. God forbid she gets hurt, we got major trouble. Kinda like whats happening down there in Marked tree. we have got to step up our defense and get Lauren pitching a little more consistent. she's good ,but needs a little more speed as well.
congrats on the win we are 3-0. I believe we play our first conference game in cross county Thursday.

how was that westside game, "MOM" heard they didnt fair as well against VV???

Well i just saw 2 innings and it was a very close game.. then Westside let them get ahead and with any Westside / VV game they all go to the wire and which every is home has the better chance...Now the baseball team MAN VV is going to be tough to beat...WHY was there no write up in the paper,... Bay is 3-0 I just knew it would be a good write up and nothing............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH and March the 27th sould be a great game softball and baseball... AND yes i will be on the BAY side got to get some purple by then.... GO JACKETS

we even asked coach if he needed someone to call it in. He said he would do it...

I was there even though CC CTY was bad... BAY was on fire.. Lacy pitched a GREAT game and the bats were on fire even thought it was WINDY.... Hope they can do it again today.. Yea were you tailgator....?? I can't come tonight so you will have to yell for me. YEA it was in the paper... Wynne paper was there so there should be pictures and a write up he was doing both.. Not sure the name of the paper, Does anybody know? GREAT win girls way to hit the ball in the WIND....

Wynne Progress is the main paper from Wynne ( comes out on Friday) they also put out a mid-week rag called "news leader"

WOW!!! i can not say enough about our bats. I think everybody got a hit or two. And the thing is, it was the best pitching we've seen to date. She was a good pitcher,and a good ball player, but like i said, we were on fire.... Our defense was good today too. i'm proud of all of them...
