On the other hand the girls continued to roll winning 5-1 and easily dominating play in what was supposed to be a good matchup.

Had not noticed it before this year but poor field conditions hurt precision pass one touch teams.

rain, rain, and more rain will do that. it seems like none of the games this year on a natural grass field has been to where you know that the field conditions won't favor one style of play over another

well westiside girls have improved alot this year. they have had some newcomers that have helped out alot and some that have returned. ive seen that there is alot of ball hoggin going on out there with westside girls.. they are really rough too, which makes me like them even more beacuase they arent to afraid of the ball and gettin dirty.

They are almost a little too rough, lots of high kicks and jumping at opponents, stuff that could be called as dangerous play. They also fail to control the middle of the field, part of the team plays forward and part plays back, nobody plays the middle. They are not a bad team at all.

Their only as rough as the refs will let them get. They dish back whatever the other team wants to dish out, thats just what iv noticed. I mean yea sure not everyones opinion is going to be like mine. They dont seem to play the middle of the field.. just as you said but thats where the ball hoggers come in and try to take over by moving everyone else out of the way so they can have the victory, it gets took up the sides almost everytime.

WS played VV Thursday and you're right that they get as rough as the ref allows. That game started out with WS being agressive without being provoked. The ref should have taken control a lot sooner than the second half.

What rank is St.Joseph? I know VV is 2nd and Westside is 3rd (girls) as of right now going into state. Westside and St.Joseph plays friday at 5 for the girls and 7 for the guys. If Westside wins then they will move up to 2nd and St.J will move down from whatever they are.. same as other way around if Westside loses and St.J wins.

Why would Westside move to 2nd? They lost to Valley View.

I think St. Joesph wins 4-0 against Westside

Westside has improved but St. Joesph has more soccer players than Westside's three.

I've not seen St Joe's girls, but if they play like the boys then Westside is in trouble.

Girls 4A-3 conference rankings:
1. VV
2. tie WS and St.Joe(not sure if St.Joe has beaten SS yet but they should)
4. SS

Friday will decide 2 and 3. I think Southside has fourth place wrapped up.

Just like when CRA played Tech, Paragould scored their only goal ten minutes into the game before a lot of the starters arrived from baseball.
