Redwolf, just curious but what was the determining factor on who got the one seed.
Coin flip, total scores in conference?

The number one seed was decided by the margin of
victory over our opponents.

redwolf1540- 04-24-2008
Yes, what Bobcat Mom said.

Corning defeated their opponents by more points than Manila.

I heard it was pretty close. How did they take into account the games that Manila hadn't played? If it was margin, and Manila had two games left with EPC, that should have helped. Not complaining, just wondering. I guess if the meeting was the other night they didn't want to wait. I don't guess it matters, both teams are going to regionals.

With Using The Point System You Can Only Count 5 Points Per Game For Each Team. Corning Was Beating Manila By 11 Points Before Manilas 2 Games With EPC...So Even If Their 2 Games Counted Yesterday That Would Only Give Them 10 Points At The Most Still Putting Corning At 1st Seed.

Game 1: Now played at 1:00 PM.
Game 2: Now played at 2:30 PM.

Game 4: Now played at 5:30 PM.

Good luck to everyone playing tomorrow!

No disrespect intended to the other schools but it is good to see the top 4 teams from regular season advance to represent the district.

...as it should be. Would be a shame to go through a good season, hick-up during a tournament and be sent home. Someone blind in one eye and not able to see out of the other could see the which teams do their homework.
