I want it to be whichever team that will cause the most turmoil and put the most pressure on the BCS for a change...so Georgia. But, LSU may jump them. 2 teams that were not conference champs have already played for the BCS MNC in the past, could we have the third?
GEAUX TIGERS!!!!! Hopefully it's us.
Hawaii deserves to be there and they are going to get hosed. The whole thing is a joke.

It probably should be. If the computer puts UGA in though, it might be a catalyst for change.
OSU is a joke. Whoever they play will destroy them.
USA Today poll (1/3 of the BCS equation) is out, OSU at 1 and LSU at 2.
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/usatpoll.htm I hate the BS I mean BCS. It is a joke. NO team should jump 3 others just like LSU did. I don't care who goes but it is wrong for a team like Hawaii to be shunned just because the teams they scheduled at least a year in advance weren't very good, not to mention they tried to schedule Mich, and Michigan State but both refused to play them. It is Wrong.....

Hawaii's strength of schedule is last, dead last, in the FBS!
So what you're saying is that any team that goes undefeated, no matter what conference they play in, deserves to play in the NC game, in the system we have now??? Please. The one ranked team Hawaii beat (Boise) has a SOS ranked next-to-last.
We do need a playoff of some kind, with at least 8 teams, but IMO, Hawaii would still be left out, and rightly so.
Honestly, what do you think the Rainbow Warriors record would be if they played in the SEC, Big 12, Big East, Big 10, even the ACC? I say 8 wins max, and about .500 in conference, and probably worse than that in the SEC or Big 12.
Looks like LSU is going to get the 2 spot, I think that's a joke that they jumped them up just to keep Georgia out of the game. I know others would think it was a joke if Georgia got in the game after not even being in the conference championship.
Hawaii plays NO ONE, not all their fault, travel distance and the money involved plays a huge part in the fact that nobody wants to schedule them.
Well maybe this deal will finally blow this BCS baloney up in their faces. But I won't hold my breath. I'm no fan of USC, but their the best football team in the country right now. I agree with the previous poster about OSU, but LSU has proved to beatable by obviously inferior teams. I wish some incredibly rich guy out there with a ego to match his wealth would step in here an finance an after the championship, championship. Who ever did it would wind getting richer.

NCAA won't allow it.
USC probably is better than OSU. They are in for sure, and are not one of the top 2 teams IMO.

I wasn't talking about hawaii being in the NC just the BCS. Everyone was predicting them to be shut out and I thought that was wrong. I believe the team that should be playing OSU is either Kansas with only 1 loss or virginia Tech with 2 losses but was ranked ahead of LSU. I even feel like Oklahoma should have been given the spot over a shakey LSU club. Nobody the Razorbacks defeated should be playing for the NC. Not knocking the Hogs but we aren't NC material.
Arkansas is light yrs better than Stanford. Tennessee beat UGA by 20. I'm as for a playoff as anybody but neaux way UGA and USC deserve it more than us under current system. Bring on a 8 team playoff and use the bowls.

You do realize that LSU beat VA Tech 48-7 this year don't you. That would be insane to put them in over LSU. And Kansas??? They played one good team all year, and you know the rest...And OK?

No team that lost to Colorado AND Texas Tech should be playing for the NC. The SEC champ should always play for the NC. IMO.
