At the Blytheville-Nettleton ballgame Friday, there was a 5 minute break between the 1st & 2nd quarters. This was so the dance team could preform. It wouldn't have been so long if they would have had their music ready. The officials just stood there and watched.
Should there have been a delay of game? I know if the band goes over their time, they can be flaged. By the way, both bands preformed, but there was time for the dance at halftime.

Wierd, there must be a strong headed Dance Team Coordinator at that school, who thinks that they are in charge! Delay of game should have been applied!
I don't have a dog in the hunt, but it's never stopped me from stating my opinion.

Sounds to me like the refs were taking a break of their own. AAA has a rules which should be adhered to. I've seen media time outs in college games, but nothing like this in a regular season football game.
The head ref was from WM. Not sure about the others.
