again, I know that they did but if you do not believe me ask Ronnie.
youthbaseballexpert- 07-02-2008
I scheduled some games for Tri-County with them and Umpired some too.
baseballdad- 07-02-2008
Well, I just don't know when they played. Their has never been a game that I am aware of during the regular season between Trumann and nea or tri county.
you are right about SMC.
youthbaseballexpert- 07-02-2008

Expert,
Just curious, were the brackets really sent from Waco or Williamsport for the small league district in Kaiser this past weekend and this week, as we were told they were.
Never seen a tournament where a team can recieve a bye the first round, lose their first game in the second round. Then be playning in the finals of the losers bracket with a chance to go to state and finish 3rd place by only winning one game.
Not hardly fair to the teams that had to win 3 games to go to state and have to drive 2hours a day for 4-5 days ,and a team only have to come 2 times in not consecutive days and still be playing in a game to go to state.
Tell me how that is fair.
youthbaseballexpert- 07-02-2008
I just talked to ronnie again and he said Bay, Lake City would come. And the Juniors (13&14) played all. s, if you added this up SMC 2-3 teams in each age division and Bay&Lake Citys 1-2, Tri-County's 2-3 play against Trumans 2-3 per age division, that fills up a schedule quick.
baseballdad- 07-02-2008
They may have played every now and then, I am waiting on Jpaul to call me.
402184- 07-02-2008
Can anyone tell me if the brackets are out for the 7 & 8 year old small league state tournament in Arkadelphia?
baseballdad- 07-02-2008
You are right about the 13-14 year olds
youthbaseballexpert- 07-02-2008
thanks dad. have a great summer.
baseballdad- 07-02-2008
OK I just talked to him. Most of the money lost was lost from the softball complex. They played Kennet a couple of times and Smc. So, they lost maybe 5 home games a year.
I think we are hearing 2 different sides to the story. Ronny is very much a LL person and is wanting it to go back to LL but I don't know abt the park and rec committee.
skles718- 07-02-2008
The opposing side to LL as far as Delta is concerned believes they were screwed over last year by the ruling that Youth mentioned previously. Because the method of advancement to state was based on the runs allowed/runs scored formula ( I don't know its official terminology) a couple of Delta teams did not advance whereas teams they actually beat did. I was as upset about it as the next guy, but the paranoia is getting deep when people actually develop a conspiracy theory out of it and claim that it was set up so Blytheville and Mountain Home would advance! The rule was in place before the tournament was played. How would ANYBODY know how this would affect certain teams? I say, get over it, move on, win, win, win and you advance for sure. Don't count on loopholes to get you to the next level. I guess they would rather face zero competition and 2 teams at state (in the older divisions) than fight it out in LL.
