Sad time when this is a big game for The Hogs.

Neabbfan- 10-29-2008
I must be off a bit, I'm thinking Tulsa 42-17.

DownNotOut- 10-29-2008
You are a bit off, but that score could be right.

Hogs 31

Golden Hurricane 27

Boston RedHogs- 10-30-2008
Our secondary has proven time and time again this year that they aren't very effective at stopping the pass. Our defense is thinned out a little this week due to injury. If we don't stop the run early, Malzahn will THRASH the Hogs the entire game.

The explosive Tulsa offense is again ranked #1 in the country and is currently averaging over 600 yards & 55 points per game. Granted they haven't faced an SEC caliber defense yet, but I'm not exactly sure the Hogs are an SEC-caliber defense this year.

Tulsa wins BIG; almost Bama/Texas-like.

Tulsa: 55
Hogs: 17

I just don't see it...maybe I am blinded by love. Tulsa hasn't played ANYBODY. S.M.U should have beat them, and they only have won one game this year. IF Tulsa wins it won't be by much. nearsports/razorback.gif

Here is why the Hogs will beat Tulsa:

"Come on guys, we are not going to lose to Tulsa. Gus or no Gus, this team is extremely overrated and has the weakest schedule in D1 to date. Lets take a look at their schedule and break some things down.

8/30 @ UAB 1-0 (1-0) W 45-22
UAB is currently 2-6 and has the nation's 111th best defense in the nation.

9/06 @ North Texas 2-0 (1-0) W 56-26
North Texas is currently 0-8 and has the nation's 118th best defense in the nation.

9/20 New Mexico 3-0 (1-0) W 56-14
New Mexico is currently 4-5 and has the nation's 40th best defense in the nation.

9/27 Central Arkansas 4-0 (1-0) W 62-34
UCA is a DII team and does not have statistics for their defense.

10/04 Rice 5-0 (2-0) W 63-28
Rice is currently 5-3 and has the 114th best defense in the nation.

10/11 @ Southern Methodist 6-0 (3-0) W 37-31
SMU is currently 1-9 and has the 119th best defense in the nation.

10/18 UTEP 7-0 (4-0) W 77-35
UTEP is currently 4-5 and has the 115th best defense in the nation.

10/26 UCF 8-0 (5-0) W 49-19
UCF is currently 2-5 and has the 48th best defense in the nation.

So the mighty Tulsa offense has put those numbers up against 5 of the worst 9 defenses in the country and a DII team. They have only played
one D1 opponent with a winning record, and haven't played any teams close to having the quality defense of an SEC team."

Tulsa's strength of schedule is currently 130th in the nation. They haven't played ANYBODY. I agree with Weatherman blink.gif ; I just don't see this team coming in to Fayetteville in front of the largest crowd they've played in front of all year and against the best team they've played against all year (that's right, as bad as we are we are still the toughest team on their schedule) and leaving with a W. The pressure is on them.

38-21 Hogs nearsports/razorback.gif

I'm guessing you're the only one wrong more often. nearsports/07388820.gif

Hogs win 30-23. Good game. We held the vaunted Gus offense to 3 in the 2nd half and kept them from scoring a point in the 4th, only quarter all season they didn't score. WPS! nearsports/razorback.gif
