Former Crowley's Ridge College Baseball Coach James Scott died on Monday night. Coach Scott had been fighting cancer for about two years. He leaves a wife and young children behind.
He was a great guy. I was pullin for him. Please post funeral information when it becomes available.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home in Paragould. The funeral will be at 11 am on Friday at Phillips.
He has a daughter on Tech's 6th grade girls team. He has a son in 5th. He also has a 7 year old girl. I coached the son in football this year. Coach Scott was a very nice man. I think the world was a better place with him in it. My heart goes out to his family.

I just want to echo want this person said. Coach Scott was an extremely kind person. He worked very hard at everything he did. He is going to be missed by a lof of people.
