Bedard to Seattle almost done

Adam Jones and George Sherrill have both gone to Baltimore for a physical; trade likely announced tomorrow.

The Orioles got a steal in this deal with being able to keep the original package throughout all the Santana stuff.

Ouch...that's all I can say for that one. Jones has a huge ceiling but i'm leaning more towards him being an enigma for his career. Without Bedard that leaves their pitching staff in a HUGE mess. Does that mean Radhames Liz will be their #1 starter this year? Another ouch right there. They should have a solid lineup next season though with Weiters and Rowell coming up to add to Jones, Markakis (the most underrated player in the game IMO) and Roberts.

Well, Roberts is likely gone soon too. They'll get a starting pitcher or two from the Cubs if they send Roberts there.

They have to blow it up... but the package they're getting for Bedard blows the Twins package for Santana out of the water.
