5 shots = 10 pts (if you wanna go by 2's)
10 passes for scores
10 rebounds (or steals)
25 times he has touched the ball....Not hard to do if he is any kind of
player at all.

(Not hard at all) That is a load of crap. If it wasn't "hard at all" players would be getting them every night, THEIR NOT!
basketballdad- 11-14-2007
you are right.......i should have said not impossible...I have seen it twice this year so far.

Alright if you say so, but I don't know of one junior high player this year or any year for a long time that has gotten a triple double. I also don't know of a junior high player right now that is capable of getting one either.

Since you say that you have seen it twice this year, then please state who done it and who they were playing?

I am going to add Tevin Smith from Marion. He is in my opinion the best 9th grader in NEA. Marion may be alittle far south for most of you posters and I know they are a 6a school but this kid can flat out play. He is about 6'2 and can do it all. Brookland fans should agree. He is the kid that had the 3 dunks and 23 points in their matchup, in which Marion won by almost 30(which they should). He is the best player on what should be the best junior high team in NEA if not the entire state. They are big(6'3,6'3 and 6'2 front line and the guards are quick. They pressuere all over court and are good in transition. A very talented group

and is not a true 9th grader....I think he is about to turn 17. but none the less he is a very good ball player.

He is in 9th grade and plays for the 9th grade team, therefor a 9th grader. The thread says best 9TH GRADER not best 16 and under . If you wouldlike to start an AAU thread then we will discuss age. I believe the rule state that if a person turns 16 after Sept. 1 of the current year that person can play junior high. If they turn 16 before Sept 1 they must move up. Tevin turned 16 in late September, and will not be 17 until next school year, therefor a 9th grader.
If your "about to" is 10 months then I guess your right he is.

If you haven't figured it out yet, anyone who beats Brookland, must have cheated!

First to Carrpuke........look at your avatar
Second.....I didnt say he was an illegal player.......I said he was not a true 9th grader. A true 9th grader has not failed a grade or two. AAA had to set those standards are there would be alot of kids not getting to play 9th grade ball. Most 9th graders are 14 turning 15 during their 9th grade year. Not going on 17. again he is a fine ball player would probally do well this year on most HS teams. But at the age difference he is playing right now........he should shine like the sun. He should be able to take the ball away from someone who is 13 or 14. Marion did not cheat Brookland they whipped Brookland and would most HS teams around here. My head is not down that Marion beat Brookland, I am proud that we went and played and play them again Thursday.......How many other jr high teams are willing to do that?

Are you serious??? So Brookland is the only team that will play any competition? Wow.
I've looked at my avatar a lot, you should read his lips and do what he says. Your emabarassing yourself.
basketballdad- 11-14-2007
I didnt say no one was going to play any competition, I said Brookland was
willing to play Marion and play them twice....It will just make them better in the long run.
