Good game BIC but CRA with many errors, mental and physical, if not for errors would have been a better game going into the 7th

Wow!! It was exciting. Cross County jumps out with 3 in the 1st.Bic comes back with 2 with a 2 out hit by Ross Clark. Chad Williams keeps the Cross county bats off balance thru the 5th.The Mustangs battle back to go ahead 4-3 in the bottom of the 5th.top of the 6th Coach Hargrove goes to Trevor Matheny to come in and close it out.Cross County comes back with 2 to go ahead 5-4 inthe 6th.Still 5-4 going into the bottom of the 7th.Ben Cole leads off getting hit by the pitch.Hawkins & Williams try to sacifice the runner both get out.Matheny walks during the walk Trevor calls time Cross County pitcher balks Cole moves to 2nd On ball for Cole steals 3rd.Then the newcomer Taylor Morgan walks in.Matheny steals 2nd.Taylor works the count into his favor.Then delivers another 2out hit for the WIN.
Great Job team alot of people done their part today.

i was making a statement... sometimes errors dont effect the game but our pitchers only gave up 4 or 5 runs...

WEll we got to play a game today. The Bicster's took it on the chin with a 6-5 loss to Rector.
Rector got down 4-0 in the 1st but battled all day and took the lead in the top of the 7th.
It was a well played game with not many errors,alot of pitching was one of the smallest strike zones I beleive I have ever seen but it was both ways.I think it just boiled down to the Rector hitters were more patient than Bicster's.
If I'm not mistaken and I could be Trevor had 7 walks & 2 k's over 7inn. and usually that is the other way around. All in all I hate to lose but it was good game to watch.

Mustangs took one on the chin Monday losing to Gosnell 10 - 0.
Thats about all I got to say about that.

I want to know what those at BIC think of Hargrove at the helm of the baseball program...seems to me that even though we haven't had the best weather, they've played way fewer games than everyone else around here, and didn't even play the county tournament game on Saturday.

BIC doesn't have much hitting this year. They are not manufactoring enough runs. They are also way to timid on the basepaths.

I heard that the Williams has a really bad arm, and can only throw curves. That is really unfortunate for him and BIC. His curve isn't that great, and thats all he can throw. Hitters can just sit on that curve and rip it up the middle.

I agree with you superfan on the offensive side we are struggling it takes3or4 hits for us to score.Can't get a bunt down for nothing.

On Chad he's a senior he is going to give all he can. He can keep a team off balance for about 3 or 4 inn. then its time to change.It would make someone elses fastball look faster than it is. We are struggling as a team,but hay the sun came up again today & we have 2 winnable games.We just need to play.
