Blytheville Baseburnerz is a newly formed ASA, USSSA, and USFA sanctioned fastpitch softball organization which currently has two teams. We have two age groups which are 12U and 14U. We are currently looking for pitchers and catchers for the 14U team. If you need anymore info please contact me.

Are you part of the BBSB?

Yes, the organization is still part of BBSB. All the present girls on the 12U team are from the current league teams. The 14U team has mixture of girls from NE Arkansas and SE Missouri. The 12U team has 2 pitchers and the 14U team currently has one pitcher and a borrowed pitcher. We are still needing a 2nd pitcher for the 14U team and maybe a 3rd pitcher for the 12U team.

I did not think BBSB allowed dual participation?

As far as league, league is over for softball. We will be playing this fall in around Dyersburg, TN and the Jonesboro area. The duel participation mainly applies to baseball and also means that a player cannot play for more than one team at time. Because in the past, players and coachs had conflicts with a players having to be at more than one place at time. In our case, most softball teams in our area play USSSA, ASA, and USFA. Paragould, and Blytheville leagues are ASA and Jonesboro and Marion leagues are USSSA or USFA. For an example: Jonesboro's Fat City which is USSSA competed in Blytheville for ASA District. Also Blytheville's Softball Allstar teams competed in the Dare and the Mountain Dew which are USSSA tournaments based in Jonesboro.

Still looking for another NEA pitcher. We have 2 pitchers on each team and have filled our catching positions. We are still looking for an outfielder and a 2nd baseman for 14U team. PLMK if interested.

We are still looking for a couple of players for the 14U team. We are currently scheduled to play tournaments 8/23-24, 9/6-7, and 9/13-14. Please contact me as soon as possible so we can make a decision on which tournaments we can play.

Where are ya'll going to play on the 23rd? We can't find anything with-in 2 hrs drive. We want to play.
