Jr high basketball team camps have finally started. How are the teams looking so far? Who have you played?

GCT looked real good at their camp but then tech is hard to beat at tech, they have some solid players maybe a little young and tough conference really well coached and strong program.
Mountain Home had really big kids huge for jr high and run the offense well
MacArthur( jonesboro ) really athletic but easliy rattled and unstructured, can't handle the pressure.
Rector not much talent but they have a good coach and scrap til the horn blows
Marmaduke good be pretty good didn't really get to see them with everybody there
Kenett looked good but the MO schools use 10th graders on their jr teams
Paragould gonna have a long season from the looks of things better move up players and play for next year
BIC pretty good size for that conference and will win their share

Thanks for posting....I was starting to wonder if any one was still out there! We've (my son's team) have been to 2 team camps so far. Rector does seem to have a good coach, but not solid players..very scrappy though. Corning has a decent team...Hoxie too. We went to the Nettleton camp last week. Were only beaten by Wynne. Played Nettleton, Mammoth Springs, Cedar Ridge and Paragould there too. Cedar Ridge actually has a pretty decent team too. I had never even heard of them til then. Head to WBC for camp in July. Will face off with CRA, Rector, Cedar Ridge, Corning, Westside and Weiner. Looking forward to seeing what some of these have to offer. Should be interesting.
