That was an amazing article about an amazing young man. I will always remember going to do Riverside games and seeing and chatting with him before games. Brian was a delight to talk to, especially about the game that night. He always joked around with me before the game. It is a sad day for me after learning of Brian's passing. I know both his Dad and brother and I can only imagine what their family is going through right now. I remember talking with him last season before a game in Caraway and we talked about life on oxygen because my best friend is also on oxygen. Brian told me he really didn't mind being on oxygen as much as he missed playing basketball and being able to do the little things that all of us are fortunate enough to do. He always seemed to say the right thing to help me put things back into perspective and easy the tension before the games.
I can honestly say " I am a better person for having had those few chats with Brian before the games"
My thoughts and Prayers are with his family. May God give you all Peace in this most difficult time. God Bless the Stallings Family and the entire Riverside Rebel Community
Have any arrangements been made? Please post them as soon as possible
Thx
I work with Ken and have umpired games with Kenny. I've met Brian a few times. The family is a class act. This is sad news for the family and friends of this young man. Prayers from my family to theirs.

Prayers from Paragould for the family and the whole area, As a parent I can't imagine what they are going through at this moment and every minute from now on. I only hope they can live life with the same strength as it appears Mr. stallings did, may God bless
THe Bench wont be the same without my little buddy beside me. RIP Fred i miss ya
He will be missed, but he is here in spirit Rebel04. He always will be.
Our condolances to the Stallings family. This young man was a class act. I had several occasions to visit with him and was always impressed by his strength, his courage and his perspective. He will be missed and remembered fondly by sports fans all around this area.
I spent 2 years on the bench with Brian, and I must say he was a class act. There will never be another Brian Stallings, he was the one and only. His relationship with Jesus Christ was amazing. He was a guy that I could always look up to, one I will always remember, no matter how long I live. From the bottom of my heart, on behalf of the entire Riverside Family, I want to say "thank you" to all of those who came to the visitation and funeral to show your support to the Stallings family. It really means a lot. May God Bless you all. R.I.P. Brian, you will be missed my man!
this is my 8th season on the Riverside bench and it is also my last. Me and Fred had numorous of great memories and funny stories on the bench. It will not be the same without him over there.
one of the Best memories was told today at his funeral, in 2005 at the nea finals against cave city with .07 on the clock garrett weaver hit a buzzer 3 to tie the game to send us to overtime. Fred was jumping up and down and looks at me and says i think i just crapped myself. i miss you buddy
