The Brookland Boys are getting better every week. Lost to Paragould 16-14. It was a good game, just a couple of plays away of getting a win or at least a tie. We missed a 2 point conversion and then at the end of the game couldn't get a defensive stop on 3 & 10 that would have given us at least at chance to win the game. Coach Mills is doing a great job!! Can't wait until next week.

Brookland will SOON be a powerhouse in NEA! I have recently (1year) moved here from California. I have been photographing youth sports in this area for the past year. Brookland has a GREAT FAN base. The school seems to have GREAT support from the comunity. From banners on the streets of the town, to the police car with the team logo on it. If that type of support keeps up you will soon be winning!

MY grandson's Valley View 7th grade team has played Brookland twice this year, and Brookland has had a great following to both games. The players were enthused about playing, and the team had several shining moments during the game. I too, believe that Brookland will become a good competitive program and team. It just takes time to build a program from scratch, and you can't afford to take any shortcuts.
