How many 8th graders contribute to your defensive line? Sounds like your defensive line should be pretty solid next year.
Yes he is a 8th grader and he is one of the bigger kids on the team. And as for how many 3 or 4 contributed to the line this year.
what would make u say the Poky was more fundamental..I was at the game and fundamentals is blocking and tackling, running...Osceola ran 80% of their plays tackle to tackle..not just sweeping to the outside and running past Poky..on defense they made bone jarring tackles...The best team won. That being said..Poky was a very very good team, Their kids played hard and never quit.. The atmospher was great!.. If u didnt make it u miss a good football game..
That is purely my opinion and my opinion only. I am taking nothing away from the Seminoles, Osceolafan13. Osceola has a great football team. The only reason that I think Pokey is more fundamentally sound is that they seemed to have a more balanced attack. run vs. pass. Osceola relies solely on the run. If pokey had been able to stop the run, the outcome would have been different.
Tmaxxmann, I made it to several jr. high football games and the only consistent playing time by any 8th grader was after pokey was ahead by three or four scores and the first team had already been taken out of the game. You are obviously upset because your son did not get enough playing time. What number is your son ?
Speed was the difference. Great game played by both teams.
speed was a big difference but it was mostly the line, the skins offensive line couldnt block very good
