Both Pocahontas and Osceola are going into the game Thursday night undefeated on the season. The game is at Pokey. This game will decide the conference champs. Any thoughts?
The Jr. Skins can win but must take this game seriously or they will get beat.
Skins 22
Seminoles 20
Osceola ends the skins bid for a unbeaten season last night. Heard it was a pretty good game.....ask Bassmaster who predicted the score right on the money.
Sorry Tmaxxman, looks like you underestimated those 'Noles!
Nothing to be sorry for the kids played hard you just stay with what got you to 8-0 and that did not happen last night to many kids never got to play last night and the ones that did where exhausted we did not use our depth like we have all year. And that is what got us to 8-0 keeping fresh kids on the field.
I really can't understand your reply. Lots of words with no periods, so it's hard to understand what you are saying. But I think I hear lots of...EXCUSES???
No excuses just did not do what got us to 8-0.....................
What are you talking about tmaxxman? They did exactly what they have done all year. What do you think they could have done differently to win the game?
I think overall the redskins had a more fundamentally sound football team than Osceola, but the Seminoles had one very important component and that was speed!! and thats what won the ballgame for them.
They did not rotate the players on the defensive line like they have all year that is what. I am not saying that it would have made a difference but it does help to keep fresh players on the field. None of you can tell me what they have done and have not I have been to every game and watched them all 2-3 times.
I was at the game last night and saw several defensive substitutions being made, and it was not linebackers or secondary personnel either. I don't know any of your players, but it did not look like to me that the defense was wore down, they just couldn't contain them.
There are several defensive players last that did not get to play just because they are 8th graders but they helped those 9th graders get there that is what I am talking about. like I said it may not have made a difference but that is what got us to where we were at. All i am saying is do what got you there yes it was the 9th graders last night as Jr. high players but they did not get there by theirselves.
Purely a guess, your son is in the 8th grade.
