Hoxie is 9-6 in the conference and will finish their conference season at Brookland today. The game was called due to bad weather a couple of weeks ago.

Manila has finished its regular season. They are conference champs. Manila and Corning both get byes to the semifinals of district. Both have secured a spot in region.

Manila has got to be a feel good story this year. Since starting fastpitch a few years back, they have been everybody's doormat. Just about a worst to first story. With 5 freshman starting, nothing but good things for the future.

Manila and Corning are CO-Conference Champions. Manila gets the #1 seed by virtue of 1 run.

But in the Jonesboro Sun it said Corning conference champs? But the way I understand it Manila gets the #1 seed so they are the champs or say Co-Champs. Sounds like to me that Corning is trying to pull ANOTHER fast one like they did to the Hughes jr high girls team.

Tie breakers don't settle who wins or doesn't win conference. If you tie, you're co-champions. Then tie breakers go to settle the seeding for tournaments.

Tell that to the Corning Coaches. They shouldn't have put Conf CHAMPS in the Jonesboro Sun!

If you are Co-Conference Champs, then you are Conference Champs just like the other teams is.

Hooch, if you read the Sun daily, then you should have noticed that a couple days earlier that Manila listed themselves as winning the conference crown, but I suppose that was Ok, since it seems it's Corning you have a problem with. Get over it.

What was Corning's record this year?? Looks like they have a lot of Seniors on the team. How do they expect to do at the regional tournament in Harrison this weekend?? Do they have dominant pitching??? Just curious.
