CRC FINISHES NATIONALS ON WINNING NOTE

BETHANY, OK - Led by Leroy Bell, the Crowley's Ridge College Pioneers outlasted Multnomah Christian College 98-92 in their final game of the ACCA National Tournament on Saturday afternoon.

Bell finished with a double-double of 27 points and 12 rebounds and added eight assists for the Pioneers, who closed the year at 11-22 in their first year under head coach Chris Perkins.

"We closed on a good note," Perkins said of his teams win. "We're happy with the way we played in all three games and it will make a good impact on preparing for next season and what our needs are."

Chris Hall added 22 points, Artomie Dixon had 14 points and six assists, Blake Bowers scored 14, and Zac Wilson had 12 points.
