CRA's senior high soccer team was victorious over Paragould 1-0 on Tuesday night. Nice to finally be on the right side of a 1-0 con-*test*-('").

Was your team there for the whole game this time?

Yes

CRA played well. They are well coached, you can tell from the stands. It is a shame for Paragould. They are capable of playing with the best and winning, but when you have coach's, and they appear to have 2 this year, that really have no soccer background or training or love for the game, it's hard to make football players into soccer players. Just because you can run with a football in your hands, does not make you a soccer star. You can't play soccer like football. You have to be unselfish in soccer. Pass the ball to the guy that is in the position to score. Don't try to take it in yourslef or kick from 30-40 yard out when there are people in position to score. There is no hero in soccer, It IS a team sport. Don't get discouraged Paragould guys.... just stick together and play your game. You have a handful of guys that know what soccer is all about. Listen to them and learn. It was a good game to watch. CRA is the same way, Hats off to the CRA coach, you have trained them well. Either team could have won, but.... the scoreboard said 0-1 in favor of CRA.... that's the way the game goes. The young men on both teams deserve nearsports/clap.gif I hope Paragould wakes up and sees what they have. You have some talent, use what you have and build on it, not tear it down.... sorry for all the "steam" ... must have been all the coffee. Looking forward to watching more soccer in the future!

I really appreciate the kind words you said about our team. These guys work really hard and Coach Morris does a great job with the team. It sounds like Paragould has a pretty strong team this year. Honestly, it sounds like every team in the conference can beat any other team in the conference on any given night.
