Now that deer season is comeing up, would anybody like to tell about what your plans are to kill that monster this year.....and tell where you hunt at also if you dont care.

Lots of acorns on the ground right now. They are not touching the corn anymore.

My honey hole is looking great!!!! I have almost emptied my pear tree in my hunt area, and they are tearin em' up. I am going to bow hunt for the first time in my life this year. I just got me a cross bow and will be getting it ready soon. I will gun hunt during our couple weeks, but use the bow the rest of the time. Not to mention you can hunt a lot longer with the bow.

Killed her around 6 this morning. Had to wait for her to get away from my stand. She was actually rubbing against my steps. Shot her at about 30 yards. I started deer hunting about 5 years ago and each year I have learned a little more about the tricks. Was using a Reminton 12 ga.

DId it fall and break the horns off? lol, just kidding.

nope, no horns. LOL. Now that I have got that "first " one, I can start looking for that wall mount!!

I have had a great deer season already and still have a few more hunts to go. My 15 YO son killed a 4 pointer on the youth hunt and my 12 YO daughter got her first deer ever the same day. It was great watching them and getting excited with them. I then tagged out a 5 pointer the first week.

Just having a great time in the woods watching nature at its best.
