do any of u think cheerleading is a sport? well heres my opinion cheerleading is not a sport in a sport u have to win games and last time ive checked cheerleaders havent won any games

First off, I know you are probably just on here trying to get a rise out of all the cheerleaders and their supporters. That is everyones goal that asks this question. So just stop right there, it's not funny.

Cheerleading is an athletic activity, it does require skill, and it is competitive.

That should answer your question, yes, cheerleading is a sport, and don't argue with me....

Until AAA considers it a sport and not a Spirit category, then I guess it is up in the air. They do have competitions and they do have a state, but they don't compete on a daily or weekly basis. There job is to keep their respective crowds pumped up for their teams, hence the name "Cheerleader".

For the record, I hate this topic. After cheering for a very long time, I am so sick of this debate. It absolutely drives me insane. I have my own opinions about cheer being considered a sport. Trust me, they differ from everyone elses. I'm not going to get into it, though, because, again, I HATE THIS TOPIC!!! Why don't we discuss teams and skills, etc. instead of stepping on peoples' toes? Just an idea.

We have determined on numerous occasions that cheerleading is a sport. The only people that start these topics are the jerks that come on here trying to pick a fight with the cheerleaders.
