There were 9 teams. Some current college players, some former college players, alot of great talent, the oldest that I heard was playing was 32, by far the toughest tournament we have seen. It was a great experience for everyone. we had alot of rain Saturday afternoon that delayed the games until Sunday morning. Their crew went to the fields at 4am to prepare the fields for the 9am games, the fields were great, it was an excellent directed tournament with great competition, we're glad we went. For us being a 16U team with several 14 year old players, I am very proud of their performance. I will say that Breeze played very well, it's the best I've seen them play, not just the pitcher they had, but they played very well all around. Like I said, there were several very talented teams. Thanks for your comment.

tell ya what, if ya'll won't bring up that "run down" thing again, we won't ( after this time) bring up the fact that a 14 year old ( who has yet to play in HS ) hit the ball to right field to bring in last two runs off of your pitcher ( who just finished 4 years of college pitching) good luck to you in Southern Nationals !

Why can't everyone just get along?! The rundown probably looked different from what all the parents saw and the players. From their view, it probably seemed as if she was out. But maybe the umpire saw it different? Same with throwdowns. Parents and players saw that most of them, the runner was out, but only the umpire was close enough to really tell. Breeze played a GREAT game! Their pitcher was great and their defense was on. They had been scooping up everything Dynasty hit that night until late in the game, Dynasty finally caught on. Same with Breeze. They had struggled to hit, then after Katie Collier's bang to the fence, they scored. The hits were on time, and made this an intense game. Both teams played good ball. Can't we just accept that?!
