I actually think it will be a blow out. I might be wrong but something would drastically have to change for it not to be. You never know though that is why games are played on the field.

I can understand your POV however the Mustangs have been studying and planning for this game for over a year. I don't expect anything less than fantastic football on both sides of the ball and neither should anyone else.

PLANNING AND STUDYING??

anything else Hoxie has that will allow them to beat Earle??

yes, Hoxie has 38 kids who have been looking forward to this game for a very long time.

topdog- 10-18-2008
Earle has 38 kids as well...

they have mastered the single wing while progressively getting better on defense throughout the season.

scouts from Ole Miss and Grambling will be in attendance to watch (Mike Wilson - RB) and (Beniques Williams-QB/LB)

The Weatherman- 10-18-2008
The way Hoxie has been playing, this won't even be close.

This game will be con-*test*-('")ed on the highest level for about 8 minutes. Then the Bulldog dominance will begin to shine like a beacon of light on the horizon to a lost soul. Soon you realize it's a freaking train and you're in it's path.

Should have some great pics, though. wink.gif

A one point win over Piggott...with all that planning and studying on how to beat Earle, Hoxie ALMOST got caught looking ahead last night. I don't see any way that a team that loses to Rivercrest and barely beats the Mohawks is going to beat Earle.

I really don't know how to interpret last night's game. Were they looking past Piggott or did Piggott come at Hoxie with a vengeance? I admit I am bias and maybe I'm not the one to give analysis. I'll leave that to the experts who haven't seen the Mustangs play according to their potential.

I'm a daredevil...I don't use a tripod and only occasionally a mono pod during football season. I am constantly working my way between people and they only get in the way.

Hoxie's Juniors...

Thanks a lot. The kids have worked so hard this season to get where they are. Talked to one of the running backs last night and he said Earle was nothing like he had expected. Just a hard nosed football game with very few penalties. He also said the players would reach down to help Hoxie's players up. Mutual respect on the field I guess, and the trash talking is left for the internet.

He said some of Earle's Juniors were HUGE. Their speed speed was also mentioned....he said he played against the fas-*test*-('") person he'd ever seen in his life. Lots more great football between these guys...who knows...maybe a rivalry is brewing.

That fas-*test*-('") person was the 4.28 in the forthy, eight grader nicknamed the Alien!! We will take that Junior High Crown back next year, thank you! Hoxie was very tough and has a great running back moving up to the senior high!
