I think they bring everybody back from this years championship team.

Earle loses alot of seniors, they definetely won't have the same type of team next year....
|
Don't let Earle surprise you next year, their were alot of hungry ball handlers that didn't get a chance to play much this season because of the talented senior class, plus keep in mind that this is Earle, Basketball is what we do!!!! After next season the the league will start to witness the fruit of our inner-city youth program started five years ago and has stacked the athletic deck for future state title runs. It will be completely impossible to get a win in a couple of years in the E for both girls and boys!!!`
Earle has always had youth programs..is there something new or different going on at Earle?

Actually Earle didn't have youth programs for a while until 2003 we started football and basketball again under Earle Youth Activities Association. This years Championship Senior class had no pee-wee program or training, just an incredible hunger, they were 8th graders when we EYAA was born. Come check out the EYAA Program in Earle on Saturday mornings at the old Marvin E. Bird Gymnasium and you'll see what I talking about, "Stacking the Deck".
All of next year's conferences are listed on NEARsports.com and have been since the day after the championship games were completed.
http://nearsports.com/bb.html Anyone have any early predictions on the 3A-3?
So is Earle losing quite a bit of seniors that ran the team this year or do they have a lot returning? Because someone said on this topic that they return a bunch and someone else said that they lose a bunch. Just trying to get this straight

My prediction: Earle and Hoxie for the district championship (Boys and Girls)
Earle boys I can probaly go with that one, but the Earle girls were less than stellar last year. What changed?

Girls teams in 3A-3 will be down from last year... Earle girls did move up some pretty good junior high girls and they did beat Manila by 20 last year near district tournament time. I think the Earle girls will shock some this year, but I still think that Hoxie will be tough.
From what I have seen Corning's girls should be very competitive this year. Never count Hoxie's girls out. They seem to be solid year in and year out.
Corning also moved up some good junior high girls that have won conference for the last 2 years and won the district tournament last year. I think Corning will be very competitive this year. Manilia will also be good. We start out the season with Marmaduke at home and they are good too. Should be a good game. Go Lady Bobcats!!!!
I really don't have any input...let's just say this season will be rather interesting
Yea this year conference will be interesting to watch.
