How are the girls teams doing this year so far in practice if any has started? Who are the best teams in the area going to be? I know that Paragould and GCT lost alot of players. Westside got much better during the year last season. Valley View is always good. What's it looking like from your point of view?

GCT has several strong seniors returning.

Who are there seniors? I talked to their head coach and he said they only have 2 seniors on the team???

from personal experience of playin the GCT girls they're not very good bt they do have two or three good players bt as a team they have improved alot over the past year....bt they still only have a couple of players they actually know what theyre doing! not trying to be rude jus sayin my opinion! i think they will be better this year simply because they have another year under their belt. They have a great goalie they makes a huge difference in their outcome! Bt Valley View has a great program especially for only being 3years old...and Westside has a couple of new players on their team that will improve them alot bt they also lost Bekka Elrod which hurts them as well! Paragould lost one of their best players bt will still have a good team!

Anyone know who is going to be better JHS or VV in 2008? Either have a chance to win it all? Any team in the NEA going to upset them this year?

I expect CRA to beat VV on thier way to a state finals appearance.

I don't know so much about that. Last year was a great year for CRA but they caught VV at a great time. One starter was out (Jose' red card) Byrd broke a bone in his foot about 5 minutes into the game and was done and another was sitting out due to missing practice. All that being said they still ripped VV's defense a new one and it might not have made a difference. Who knows?

I expect a great game this year at VV and Coach Morris is a great coach for CRA. BTW are you still going to ref this year?

I paid AAA in the summer, was late sending my availability form to peeler and have not heard anything since. Watching my boys (and a slight chance my daughter)is my priority this year.

GCTs girls are stacked with halfbacks this year. Theres alot of young players, too with potential

Pity they don't have a striker.

one of their forwards didnt play against searcy. shes a senior but she was sick

Jonesboro girls looked like the team to beat in the east.
Having their way with Nettleton. Winning 8-0

Searcy girls looked very good with thier passing. If that was not thier full varsity team that played GCT then they will be awesome.
