45 points out of 51 is very impressive for an individual performance.

BUT, Basketball is a team game, so Marshall wins. I saw Marshall last week in the tournament at Cave City, and I really like their style of play and the coach. Marshall is a very worthy state champ.

Madden will replace Stricklin next year as the best female player in the state, deservedly so.

I agree. It is a shame that the team with the win gets the mvp. Stricklen and Madden were both the best basketball players on the floor during their game.

When did that rule go into effect? 2001 state football championship Wynne vs Stuttgart. Wynne won and Slade Camp from Stuttgart got mvp and I think we remember a certain running back for wynne who played that game.....
