I saw these two teams play a week ago in the Regionals. I hope EPC wins but I think that Marshall is the better team. If it is called loosely them EPC will have a shot. It seems like EPC turned up the intensity level this week at CC.

The game between the two teams at regionals wasn't the same EPC team. They got in a little slump there around district and regionals and really didn't play well. They obviously turned it back up for state. I guess it was better to get that slump out of the way early this year so they didn't end up doing like they did last year in state. However, with that said I am not trying to take anything away from Marshall, they were a great basketball team that played well together the whole game. I do think that EPC will win the game if they are playing like they are capable of though. They only lost the last game by like 6 or 8, and in my opinion played horrible.

EPC by 8, but it all depends on the officials.... At Corning (district) a couple of weeks ago, the officials were the difference. It depends on how they call the game. If the game is close the officials will be the difference..

I think it will be an awesome game. Whoever said we were seeing a different team in the state tournament was correct. I saw EPC in the region and it didn't seem that the whole team showed up to play. They did show up at Cave City.

With that said, I am going to go with the bobcats if it comes down to the better coach. I think that man does a fantastic job. No one gave Marshall a prayer to beat Shiloh Chrisitan (no one gave any one a prayer) and he coached them through it. Hats off to both teams. You represent region 3 well.

Scott.. there is a reason that the girls from EPC are playing in the state championship.

I am pulling for all 3AAA teams that have gone on to region and state..

No plans to transfer to EPC.. According to Coach Foster EPC will play Hughes next year and I am looking for revenge in the boys games and another upset in the girls games.

BTW... Hughes girls won 20 game this year after you criticized them in your posts the early in the year. One of those wins was the first loss for EPC this year.

Doesn't look too negative does it?

Scott.. these are a few, but there are more.. The comments were about boys and girls also, not just girls.

Back on topic.

I think it will be a great game. I will pick Marshall, but only by a few. However, if it comes down to a bench clearing brawl, I will definitely take Marshall, because word at Marmaduke 2 wks ago is that their coach used to be a cage fighter. So, my money is on him if any altercations were to occur
