With Spring just around the corner, a lot of people are warming up the boats getting ready to pursue the fish species of their choice. Here's the way I like to fish.

Is that even legal?

How were they getting them to do that?

What country were they in? I couldn't understand a word that guy said.

It is a fish that is in the carp family. They are now in the waters of the Ohio and in the Mississippi. There are reports of this fish in some of Arkansas's River's. You are supposed to report it"Game and Fish" if you see these fish.

They jump out of the water, responding to any loud noise and are a great danger to water sports.

The video was not as clear as I would have liked because the fish were moving so fast, but to me they looked like bass.

And I am still trying to decipher what language that dude was speaking.

I think that film is in Brazil, so the language is Portuguese,

Last I heard, they was in some rivers"In Arkansas". I can't recall which ones. If you have a Arkansas game and fish book, it does talk about in there. That is where I seen it first. You are supposed to notify them if you come across them.

This could be very dangerous. I couldn't imagine going down the river 40 m.ph and getting hit in the head by a 50 lb flying fish.

Just reportin in to all you bass lovers. I landed a 7.2 lbs largemouth last week. The fish had no girth though, it was 23 inches long, should have weighed more. I practice catch and release so back into Lost Lake it went. clap.gif

I'll believe you, Bassmaster, when I see it. By the way, I caught a 50 lb. brim yesterday!

I do too but I have to give him a hard time. I just wish he would've taken a picture or something.

We went down to Lake Ouachita this weekend. The bass were biting there and there but were a bit unpredictable. We weren't limiting out by any means.

Just got back from Norfork. The largemouth fishing was slow but had lots of fun catching several white bass on my ultralight.
