I umpire around the area and I don't remember a Weir kid from GCT. By the way that was not the eagle's first win. The game was a junior varsity game. You shouldn't pad your stats with jv games. I umpired the games against mid-continent and that is what i do beleive to be the eagle's first win. But who's counting

Mr. Weir, if I could give you a pointer or two. Until you get your fastball to a decent velocity, and a curveball that doesn't hit people when it forgets to curve, you might want to focus on the bottom of the strike zone and hitting spots so that no more leadoff's take you into the trees when you miss a spot. I do feel kind of bad for the pitcher in the second game because they hit the ball hard all day and in your game they just happen to hit it hard right at your teammates. The eagle's bats didn't help the other pitcher much in the second game either. So before you get a head the size of a beach ball know that there are many things that you and the rest of your squad need to work on before becoming the complete package. By the way don't make excuses for the Jones kid either, if he was sick it was his problem, but he was well enough to play. The fielders must make plays behind the pitcher for anybody to be effective.
