tech has been slumping but i still see them beating paragould

If Paragould is healthy and not missing players, I'm not sure Tech can score.

Paper said boys tied and PHS girls stomped Tech girls 6 - 0 I think.

yes that is correct, boys tied 2-2 and girls 6-0 from what I saw the Paragould boys were in command most of the game especially the 2nd half. The two goals by GCT appeard to unearned.. one was a run out and the paragould guy got tripped up and the other was a PK that no one understood why. GCT appeared to be a little hostile, as usual, pushing and shoving. I think they must have to take a course in "smack talk" before they can play. Paragould is a much better team, GCT has some athetes, but no soccer players. They should improve if they can get over the "we are so tough" attitude.

tech may have been playing physical but paragould got at least as many if not more fouls called on them than tech did. I would also have trouble saying that the tech goals were unearned. There were multiple times that tech took a shot that was just high.

nothing wrong with playing physical. Soccer is a physical game. But when players fall or are tackled and the guy gets up and pushs the other guys head in the ground and laughs about it.. is absolutely disgusting. Play soccer and let the best team win. I love to see a good physical game, but when the "dirty" soccer starts it ruins the game. GCT does have the reputation. cant help it, I hear it, and see it, everywhere I go. just play soccer. and...... I want even go in to the center ref for that game....

you guys that are sayin that paragould controled the game? i would like to know where in the world you came up with that crap.....tech was in control and the whole playin physical part...if your not goin to play physical get off the field its part of the game get over it....and when you talk about tripod and eddleman gettin into it on the field i hope you was watchin eddleman foul everyone he was attempting to defend....he deserved it

EXACTLY what I am talking about. That GCT attitude. you say he deserved it. everyone on the field deserves to play fair. Like I said soccer is physical. It needs to be. It you can't play rough and play fair get over it. There are a lot of calls that didn't get made and it will always be that way. you may not agree with it, I don't agree with all the calls , but don't go acting all tough no one deserves to be treated that way... GCT or Paragould or anyone else. So get off your high horse and get down here with the rest of us. It was a very good game. both teams played well. Tech had their control and Paragould had theirs. I just want to see good clean soccer.

I think GCT will look much better next time they play paragould. They were missing 5 of their original starters and had a new goalie who did very well for her first time

I meant that about the girls game

I don't think it would have made a lot of difference, might have been 4-0 instead of 6-0. Normal starting keep played on the field as well or better than any field player, new keep did not really cost the goals.

i think that if we had the starters playin for GCT that game, tech would have won no doubt..it did make a difference with them not being there..a BIG difference...and basically all the starters that were out were the defense.

back to the guys game.. who did eddleman foul?

It may be that GCT's mind may have been on other, life and death matters. Cut them some slack please.
