If GCT beats Paragould and both Wynne and Forest City win, there is a three way tie for the last spot. Points will decide.

If GCT loses to Paragould and Wynne and Forest City lose, there will be a five way tie for the last spot. Points will decide. Yes a 2-5 team could make the playoffs

You mean in a three-way tie w/FC and WY, it wouldn't matter that GCT beat them both??? Who plays who in the final week?....

If Tech/FC/WY all three end in a tie, Tech gets the fourth spot based on head-to-head wins over FC and WY. Points won't matter.

If Tech/FC/WY all lose and wind up in the five way Tech, Tech is knocked out on points, leaving a four way tie between PG/NT/FC/WY. In which case PG and NT are out b/c of head-to-head losses to FC and WY leaving a two way tie between FC and WY, leaving WY with the 4th seed b/c of it's head-to-head win over FC.

Simply put it's in Tech's control.

Good deal. That sounds fair. Never know about AAA though. The reason I was thinking that, way back in 93 Tech tied for the third spot. With Marianna and Wynne. Marianna had points and took third. Wynne then had head/head over Tech. It was a perfect triangle though.

does it matter tho, a bad team will be getting into the playoffs out of the east. gct had and still has thier own destiny in thier hands, but still r u serious. they have played terrible since beating wynne. they started to get all this publicity and i guess it went to thier heads. i hope they get in the playoffs but i hope they get thier heads on straight or pgould will beat them again.

If at the first of the season, I had said GCT would have chance at the playoffs, in the last game of the regular season against paragould, there would have been a roar of laughter, most people thought 2 or 3 wins max, But now with a chance at a .500 season and a playoff berth, people are still doubting that GCT will make it. What the EAGLES need now more than ever is support from the GCT faithful. So this friday nite, let's show up, get loud, be proud, of what these young men have done, and root them on to the playoffs.

Well said...shame on any GCT fan who isn't behind this team 100%! I've followed you guys all season and I can't think of a better ending to this great story than for you guys to make it to the playoffs. BUT, even if it doesn't happen, your program is obviously much improved and something that your fans should be excited about!
