So, I'm about to head out for the frist time since it's gotten warmer to go giggin...Anyone else been out yet? BTW if you plan on goin make sure to have your fishing licenes with ya!!
My husband and one of his friends went friday night, they both got their limit.
Was planning to go Friday night but decided not to. Might try it this coming weekend.
There is a limit on how many frogs you can get? Guess I should do some more reading on my rules...I only got 3 last night, but I wasn't trying too hard to look...
the limit's 18 per person...i think.
I haven't been yet, but I know some people who went last Friday night and they caught 27.

I think the limit is 15 per person. I think.
I have never gone Giggin. This may be dumb but do you eat the frogs?

You dont eat the whole frog. Just the back legs.

Ha I wrinkled my nose at that...but how do you gig.do you use a stick or what?

its a long stick with like a really sharp fork on the end of it and you spotlight them then stab them with the gig.
O is it kinda like a bent hayfork or what?

kinda but the head of it is alot smaller.
