It is a toss up for sure at this point. noone really knows because everyone on that list doesnt play each other enough to say who is better or not. for example, cave city lost big to epc but it was a ten point game all the way until cave city tried to do something and press them with players in foul trouble so that was not a true indication of how the game really went. cave city and highland were neck and neck and it was a close game. lots of the games that seperate the rankings were close and could have gone either way. it will be easier to say in about a month who will be going to state.

Only post I won't argue with, the rest have a loop hole or pot hole here and there.

For the record, teams I have not seen,but compare with their conference as a whole or saw them a little this summer:
Searcy,Mountain Home,BASS,Hoxie,Augusta,Weiner(for now)

All the other teams I have seen live or spoken with their respective coaches or their competition. ALL of them. This year it's truly on any given night.

The arguments for Hi-VV-PO are pretty persuasive.

For the record, I emphatically disagree with this weeks BUTS. Emphatically!

Just a short note about the Black Rock's Lady Zebras...

Up until the Lady Zebras crossed paths with the Hoxie Lady Mustangs this weekend, they had lost only 1 game since Christmas. This group of 8 girls from the tiny school of Black Rock shocked myself by winning over Walnut Ridge and then giving Hoxie a run for their money in the Lawrence County Tournament. Look for the Lady Zebras to do well in the classification as the season winds down.

The LBRLZ's are one of my honorable mention/bubble teams.

Last night Valley View beat Pocahontas 70-40...

Please look at the first page where the updated version is for the beginning of this week prior to the tournament. Congratulations to all four teams going on to the regionals. Next update scheduled for Sunday evening provided all games are finished due to the weather conidtions.
