Tech. One word--experience. Tech plays in front of a packed house every night. And they have beaten some of the best 6A teams in the state this year (Jonesboro, Fayetteville 7A, etc.) they also have several players who saw significant minutes in the finals last year. The atmosphere won't affect them, and their experience will carry them to yet another ring.


Anybody have guesses on how big this one will be?

I assume that when the announcement is made regarding championship game times, it will be posted here as well?

I just want to say how proud I am of the GOLDEN EAGLES, & wish them the best of luck going into another championship game. Remember EAGLES winning back to back is what all the hard work in practice was for. Stay focused, get ready the game, & BRING HOME ANOTHER STATE TITLE FOR GREENE COUNTY TECH. GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!

When did they (gct) beat Jonesboro?

And in the Taco Bell Classic they lost to them by 1 on a "very questionable" last second shot in OT. I believe there might have been some home cooking involved in that one.

Let's not make room in the trophy case just yet, EAGLES still have 1 more game to win. Don't get me wrong I know GCT is the better team, but Siloam Springs didn't get to the finals on their looks. I played basketball with three boys from Tech last night and we went 3-0.
Watching them move the ball around when we were playin', I say they have it on Saturday.
The 5A East needs to look out next year too.


I heard through the grape vine that Trace Davis hurt his leg or something.

Any truth to that?

Davis turned his ankle coming down from a jumpshot in the third quarter of the semi-final game on Saturday. He did return to the game later. He said in the newspaper article Sunday that he'd be ready to go for the finals. Other than that, I've heard nothing.
