Saturday is opening day,I'm trying to get pumped up for it,but this weather is just not duck hunting weather.I think the high Saturday is going to be like mid to high 60's. Plus we don't have enough water we will have to walk into our pond.

Anyone else ready to go??

Am going to a football game instead but have the same problem. Have some fields flooded and our woods stopped up but not much water or cool enough to do much good in my opinion. Will probably wait a few weeks unless something happens up north with the snow and cold.

The ducks arent here yet, but yeah im ready for it as well! im going to deer hunt until the ducks get here.

1st week came and went I went everyday either to Big Lake or St.Francis.We did not hurt the population any. They say that there is 70,000 on Big Lake 50,000 must be Wood ducks.they were everywhere.

The woods isnt anything to try if you want to kill ducks either.

Friday was decent3 of us got 9
Saturday was hot 4 of us limited by 7:15
Sunday 10 came out at 8:00 for Church

best weekend so far.

We had a good weekend finaaly too!

Actually we have been doing pretty good down there. Not bad at all.
