Football teams and talent seem to run in cycles. Don't be too hard on yourself. Highland has a great tradition of good football teams!

I wish Westside's cycle wasn't as long as Haley's Comet's.

Every team has its good and bad years. IMO a team's success and failure lies within the patrons who support that team. You won't find a successful program without a strong fan base. Westside's fan base is growing, and Highland's fans have been there through the good times and will stick with the rebels in these hard times.

How many times have you seen a strong fan base without first having a successful program? Kind of goes back to the chicken/egg question.
