Hillcrest is 2-2 now. 1-1 in conference. We won a close one 4-3 yesterday against ICC in 9 innings in the Sharp County Tournament and lost against bald knob 12-4. No offense to cedar ridge but that game was a fluke, not saying yall wouldnt have beaten us but our pitching and defense completely fell apart. Dont expect it to be near that easy next time.

That was ICC's second day on a field, and they aren't playing very well right now, 1-4.
for real, when a mlb team goes 1-4 in the first five games, you dont hear the announcer go "Oh, well theyre just a little rusty." Theyve had as much time as anybody else in high school to get ready.

No, When you play in the basketball state championship it delays your baseball practice(for those that play basketball) at least a week or two more than everybody else.

MLB players practice all the time. They hit in the offseason to get better, they dont play other sports or worry about other things. That is their job. THey shouldnt be rusty, if you are gettin paid millions to play baseball you should be ready to play every day.
