Hodges scores 37 points in loss to Trevecca

NASHVILLE, TN – K.K. Hodges scored a career-high 37 points and pulled down nine rebounds in the Lyon College Pipers 77-70 loss to the No. 18 Trevecca Nazarene Trojans Saturday in a TranSouth Conference road game.
Hodges, a freshman forward from Wynne, scored her career total on 14 of 21 shots from the field and was a perfect 9 of 9 from the free-throw line.
Pipers' guard Snezana Jovanovic also notched her first double-double of the season with a 13-point, 13-rebound performance. No other Lyon College player scored more than five points.
Lyon (14-10, 5-8) outrebounded TNU (13-8, 7-4) by a 47-28 margin and pulled down 21 offensive boards. The rebounds led to 34 points in the paint, but could not yield the victory.
Trevecca got a team-high 22 points from K.C. Van Atta and 14 more from Abby Lawson.
