There have been a lot of GREAT players come from the state of OK High School basketball. To say that Clark is the all time scoring leader...he's good. When a team knows that they are playing a guy averaging 38+ points a game, they will do everything to keep him from scoring. Every team tried, but none were successful. He continued to pour it in. Straw never did that at Har-ber. He is leaving the team now knowing that after watching Clark, there is never a shot for him to ever get his chance. He came thinking the school has no shooter and i can be just that. Pel started getting his own and got one even better than Straw. Larry Bird was as slow as they come, but no one ever stopped him. Let the kid have a shot to step on the court against SEC before we throw in the towel on him shall we.

When I am wrong I say I am wrong. Clarke is much much better than I thought he was. I thought he would have a problem getting his shot off and that is not the case. He is a very good player. He may have problems in the SEC but to this point in the season he has been very good.

wannabenext...Do you still think the same of Rotnei Clarke?

The only problem Rotnei has is his teammates not finding him coming off screens.
He is gonna be special.

Rotnei has great potential and he is already an impact player. That's a pretty big statement to make for a freshman.

I'll admit our schedule has been fairly easy so far, but don't think for a minute that every team we've played hasn't gotten a scouting report on Rotnei. They're on him.

If anyone watched the game on T.V. last night, Jimmy Dykes was commentating. He said he gets asked frequently around the country if he's seen this kid shoot. People know about Rotnei and they are preparing for him.

Rotnei has a chance to be a very good player. But in my mind, what gives Rotnei the best chance to develop is for the rest of the team to continue to be an offensive threat. We currently have 4 guys averaging double figures. If that keeps up, teams can't focus solely on Rotnei and that will open his shot up more than anything he can do by himself.

TEAM BASKETBALL will improve Rotnei's game.......as well as everyone else and will translate into W's and the National re-emergence of the Hog basketball program.

2nd/3rd on the team in scoring...i would say he is perfect for this level of play! let's just be nice to the kid and remove all negative chatter "wannabenext" and try and keep him around for a few more years!!!

He's off to a good start. 25 threes in 8 games.

He is special and Fortson makes him that much better. Let's just hope we can keep them together here for four years. I believe coach Pel will put us back on the BB map just as Coach Petrino will put us back on the FB map. I can finally say I am once again excited about Razorback teams. Go Hogs Go
