Was at Brookland tonight and saw some of thoese TRADITION tee-shirts being worn by students. I know it's an exciting time there....enjoy!

Hoxie Junior Mustangs 40 Manila 14

Sebastian Irvin ran for 162 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries as Hoxie beat Manila 40-14.

8th Grade Quarterback Zach Crisler had 76 yards passing one which included a 52 yards completion to 8th greader Seth Hart. Hoxie's scores included two two point conversions through the air. One to Cody Treadaway and the other to D.J. Kendrick. Tim James ran for a 2- point conversions.

Hoxie moves to 3-0 for the season.

Hoxie also won the 7th grade game. Don't have any stats other than my nephew ran for his first ever touchdown as a Mustang. Zack Manus helped carry the 7th grade Mustangs to victory!!! nearsports/clap.gif

yeah that running back #11 is one of the best players i have seen in a while play junior high football. i dont know if it is true or not but i also heard that coach sears said that this young man is the best player or could be the best player he has ever coached. man the kid runs hard!

I'd love to see Hoxie's Jr team and Pokey's boys go at it. Pokey is undefeated so far too. That would be a great game to watch.
