Thoughts, predictions, insight?

While I believe the Mustangs will continue to be a team based mainly on the run, I am noticing things evolving into a more balanced attack. Some claim 70/30 is the ideal percentage for a team to shoot for. 70% being on the ground, and 30% being through the air. Last week Hoxie had 371 total yards and just a shade over 29% of them thanks to the pass. that's GREAT!!!!

Piggott will bring a lot of experience in the backfield with all four being returning starters from last season. They'll also bring inexperience in others. It'll be key for Hoxie to find these potential weaknesses and take advantage of them.

Things are always quiet until i get here.. i KNOW the MUSTANGS will win this one..they just keep getting better and better! just wait until those two Anglin boys or twins as Hootens calls them get there chance...then we will have a passing game...i watched the film on Piggott and it didn't impress me much

Haven't seen anything from Piggott...I just remember them having a no frills offense.

As far as the twins go...yes, Hoxie has some very talented underclassmen that'll make names for themselves in the near future.

It's gonna get down in the mid to upper 40's tomorrow night...great football weather!!!

I think this one will be very interesting considering the stakes for those Sr. boys on the piggott team. I think this one will Surprise alot of people.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I think the 17 Seniors on Hoxie's team take all of these games very seriously as well. I can't think of a better team to be playing this Friday Night because Piggott always gives it their all.

I personally wish you the "second" best of luck this Friday.
