Did you hear this from a Marmaduke person or a Trumann person?

Osceola also has an opening for a Sr. Boys coach.

What's the chances of Coach Gathen coming back to Osceola now that he's out at Camden?

Who is going to get the Riverside job? Wonder if Dean would of wished he'd know about the opening before he committed to Trumann.

oldguy_21- 04-17-2008
He could always tell Trumann he changed his mind and go to Riverside.

Missco- 04-17-2008
I highly doubt Dean would back out of the Truman job for various reasons.

What happened to Coach Smith at Nettleton?

Missco- 04-18-2008
He is still at Nettleton. Rainwater is just the Jr. High Coach.

With everything I own, I would bet if Dean TODAY was asked to come to Riverside he would leave Trumann faster than it would take the ink to dry on his resignation letter. nearsports/blush.gif

Are there any names floating around about Riverside or Gosnell? nearsports/blush.gif

zoey what makes you think that? Riverside was a rival school for him, where as Truman really has never had a connection with or against him. I agree that Riverside is a much better choice history wise in girls basketball, and they obviously will be much better than Truman in the next few years, but there is that challenge of making a program your own. That in itself might be more appealing to him.

I have known MD for a very long time and instead of me sitting here and really telling what I really think, I will be nice and leave this alone. The people who know MD or know of him knows his background and what he brings with him. He will be a GREAT ASSET for the Trumann girls basketball program and it may take a few years but Trumann will get much better. nearsports/blush.gif

I never said that he couldn't do a good job a Truman, but you said he would ink at Riverside in a heartbeat over Truman.

I am not doubting his abilities whatsoever!!!! I believe in that Dean name! There have been some huge win totals come from that family.
