I know that Pocahontas should be pretty good and Paragould as well. I would appreciate any other thoughts on local teams.

In 4a jr. girls basketball who is expected to be on top?? I know Pocahontas ended up winning conference and district last year, but will they be able to do it again this year after losing their now 10th graders?? Also last year Highland, Westside, and Valley View were good too. How will they be this season after losing their now 10th graders??

Hasn't that bunch of girls from Paragould moved up to 8th grade...therefore junior high. Look out!

BIC jr. girls beat Armorel last night to go 6-0 on the year.

I agree BIC is pretty good! Armorel is decent!

BIC girls beat Bay tonight to go 7-0.

BIC girls demolished Manila tonight to go 8-0. They even ran the clock in the 3rd quarter.

BIC girls win a close one tonight at Gosnell. They are 9-0 now.

Paragould Jr. Lady Rams will go undefeated. They get bigger and better after January.

Paragould is very good. I bet GCT Jr High ladies will have something to say about that. There are quite few good Jr High girls teams that I have seen so far. Nettleton is solid and I think VVJHS will be pretty good by mid year as well. IMHO
